What an affiliate link is

Some links on this site go to products we write about, such as course platforms, email marketing tools or website builders. If you click one of these links and then buy or sign up, the company may pay us a commission. You do not pay anything extra, and sometimes our link gives you the same price or a better deal than going directly.

How you can tell

Affiliate recommendations are labelled "Partner", and our affiliate links go through a short /go/ address on this site. They are marked as sponsored links for search engines.

How we keep recommendations honest

• Commissions never change a calculator result.
• We recommend the tool that fits your situation, even when it does not pay us or pays us less.
• We describe drawbacks and limits, including those of tools we earn from.
